Winter Maintenance Update

The Kalamazoo County Road Commission (KCRC) is once again preparing for the upcoming winter season. Kalamazoo County road crews are first responders that provide snow and ice removal service before, during and after winter storms, to ensure safe travel conditions for motorists Managing Director Joanna Johnson said. The winter maintenance program is reviewed annually for improvements to best serve the public.  more

Road Commission Modifies Retiree Health Insurance

The Board of County Road Commissioners of Kalamazoo County has approved the modification of retiree contributions to the health insurance premium provided for its retirees effective January 1, 2012. This increase reflects an additional 8% cost sharing to the monthly premium for health insurance. The last increase to the retiree contribution was in 2009.  more
